Review draft: confirm the legal operator, public contact details and applicable jurisdiction before publication. Product subscriptions and pilots need separate agreed terms.
Terms for the public pre-launch website. Registering interest creates no paid subscription or product-access entitlement.
1. About ConsentTrace and these terms
ConsentTrace is a pre-launch independent consent assurance platform. Its current workflow ingests web evidence from third-party consent automation frameworks, evaluates consent behaviour and generates reports. Mobile app support, internal customer-configurable AI agentic testing and a manual browser-extension collector are planned future capabilities. It is not a Consent Management Platform and does not itself manage visitor consent choices.
These terms concern this public website and interest-registration forms. They are not a paid software subscription agreement or a statement of work. Contact: contactus@consent-trace.com.
2. Pre-launch information and early access
Product descriptions, preliminary pricing, availability labels and roadmaps describe the current proposition and may change before commercial launch. Demonstration data and interface previews are illustrative.
Registering interest does not create a product account, grant access, reserve a pilot place or create an obligation to buy. Any early access or pilot invitation will set out its scope and applicable conditions separately.
A 30-day free trial is planned for launch, subject to final availability and confirmed trial terms. Registration does not start a trial, require payment or authorise automatic billing.
3. Lawful use of the website
- Use the website and forms lawfully and provide accurate enquiry information.
- Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt services, introduce malware or submit spam.
- Do not submit passwords, API keys, browser evidence files or personal data that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
- Do not misrepresent the platform, its demonstration reports or its relationship with third-party providers.
4. Future software access and optional services
Before product access, a pilot or a paid subscription is agreed, separate terms must define the contracting parties, property and user entitlements, evidence and storage allowances, retention, support, billing, renewal and cancellation. The website does not offer self-service checkout.
Implementation, custom integrations, integrated testing frameworks, GTM Change Agent work, custom journeys, training and automation maintenance are optional future services. Where offered, they require a separately agreed scope and fee; they are not automatically included in a subscription.
A customer must be authorised to collect and submit its evidence. Processing roles, privacy information and any required data processing agreement must be established before customer personal data is processed.
5. Intellectual property and evidence
Rights in the ConsentTrace software, website content, methods and templates remain with their respective rights holders. You may view this website and share links to it. Other use of protected materials requires permission or another lawful basis.
Submitting an enquiry does not transfer ownership of your materials. Rights to use product outputs and share reports with advisers, auditors or other third parties will be specified in the applicable pilot or subscription agreement.
6. Privacy and enquiries
The Privacy Policy explains the website enquiry and early access registration process, form-delivery providers and your data protection rights. Sending an enquiry does not establish a professional-services engagement or a confidentiality agreement.
An ordinary enquiry or demo request does not sign you up to launch-update emails. Early access registration includes a separate optional email-updates choice, which you can withdraw at any time.
7. Assurance findings and legal advice
Platform findings and reports concern the evidence supplied, the evaluation rules applied and the time and scope of capture. Missing evidence, incorrect inputs and changes to a property can affect results.
ConsentTrace does not provide legal advice, a regulatory decision or a certificate of compliance. Customers remain responsible for their consent implementation and any legal advice they need.
References to regional frameworks are descriptions of evaluation and reporting capabilities. They do not promise that every legal requirement in a jurisdiction is assessed or satisfied.
8. Availability and responsibility
The public website may be changed, interrupted or withdrawn. Its content should not be treated as a promise of continuous availability or relied on as a substitute for professional advice.
Nothing in these website terms excludes or limits liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Liability, service levels and remedies for future product access or paid work must be addressed in the applicable agreement. No subscription liability cap is established by these website terms.
9. Changes and contact
Changes to these website terms will be published here with an updated date. Changes to a future pilot or subscription agreement will follow that agreement’s variation provisions.
